I leave soon to spend the morning with my daughter and then I will go on to my coz for Xmas lunch. I'm excited as I think she has been spoiled again this year, her happiness has a direct affect on how my next few days will be.
Next week will begin yet anothe New Year and the whole gang will be going 'posh' this year, we are going to a 'dance' ... by choice I will not have anyone with me ... they say you sholdn't start the New Year with someone if you can't finish it with them!!
I will bury myself among my friends where their loyalty has been proven time and again.
I went to bed around 4AM and woke at 8AM ... I must have had something on my mind.
Before going to bed I ritually close down my pc one application at a time, as always, but this time it was more deliberate, more .. final. But I didn't switch the pc off! Is all I had to do was make one click of the mouse ... I left it on. Some things just can't be switched off that easy.
*sigh* a smile doesn't always mean we're happy.

You ever need to get something off your mind I'm here for ya.
Your intuition is bang on ... and I thank you my friend.
Well, I hope your mind is clear and you have a lovely Chrismtas BL :)
The hawk, soaring free in the sky, a beautiful sight .... beautiful indeed, until it spots what it wants and then it becomes a deadly predator, in this case it spots a blackbirds nest.
Swooping down from the clouds to devour its prey, ..... but not this time.
This hawk became unstuck when it spotted a defenceless blackbirds nest ... the blackbirds were not as defenceless as the poor hawk thought.
Inspiration for all!
Here the hawk has spotted it's target ... but it has been spotted!
The hawk swoops low but the blackbird is in pursuit.
Landing on the hawk's back the blackbird begins it's defence by attacking the hawk.
Finally the blackbirds mate joins in the fracas.
This hawk was eventually chased away, but normally when a hawk gets its claws in ...

Loved this
I took the clippings from a local newspaper as I found nothing on this papers website.
It was just an incredible article...
Lets hear it for the blackbirds ! Great stuff.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Oh nooooo. it's The Fog. Freezing fog is the one aspect of weather conditions on the coast that I hate. There is no fun in this type of fog it just brings misery and chaos.
Now I have to dig out my scarves ... like I know where they are :-(

To make it fun...jump out of the fog and go BOO to people.
It's kinda pretty when it's all sparkly, like stripper-glitter.
southern softy ;-) lol
lol .. steady!!!
The move went well enough, it was always going to be a logistical nightmare when you downsize.
I never realised just how much crap I had accumulated, what's worse, I have very little storage. But I knew all that .. right ... I figured I would be ruthless and have box after box stacked up by the charity shops, but I never figured on sentiment and a longing .. almost a need to hang on to said crap.
On the plus side, i'm in as planned before Xmas and closer to both the main shopping area and the beach.
The only casualties (so far discovered) have been a crack in my kettle, my monitor for the pc is shot (i'm running a cable to my TV at the mo) and my webcam broke (not a casualty of the move) but will nevertheless need replacing.
Other than that I have a roof over my head and i'm open for business.

I'm getting good at throwing things away, I just have to catch the git that keeps bringing stuff in lol
ps..no webcam ? I'm gonna miss the nightly shows.
Glad your move is over! Moving can be such a hassle!
Oh Sinora ... I'd love to give you a display on cam .. lol
You shouldn't get so carried away on your webcam :o)
Hey TLH, i'm blaming you for that as you were the only other person in the room. lol
